What Now, Lord?

Show me Your ways, O Lord; teach me Your paths. Guide me in Your truth and faithfulness and teach me, for You
are the God of my salvation; for you (You ALONE altogether) do I wait (EXPECTANTLY) all the day long.
Psalm 25: 4-5
What are you expecting? Are you expecting dread?
Or are you going through your day with expectation of great things to happen?
Have you been waiting and waiting and waiting for something you have prayed for? With no results, YET?
Have you ever carried a child? If so, remember each day you couldn't help but think of what was to come, knowing
that each day brought you closer to your day of delivery. Knowing that something great is about to be placed in your
hands, something that will change your life forever?
Well that is what I think of when I hear the verse above. Make it a point each morning, to tell the Lord that you are
expecting great things to happen to you! When you wake up, and start your day this way, you are setting the
atmosphere with anticipation! You activate your Faith! Even if you know you have a million things to do that day, or
things don't look so great. Don't let your mind get cluttered and out of focus. MAKE YOURSELF start the day right.
Praise him for a NEW day, NEW mercies, and greet the day with expectancy! You know right when you are about to
deliver, you are usually in great discomfort and pain. Even suffering. But look at the gift you receive, after you have
PUSHED! He is able to give us more than we can ask or think! Praise God!
I know what it feels like to want to give up, let me encourage you to keep pushing. Get prayer and support from
other believers, and first and fore most, pray DAILY, read his word and he will help you. If you would like to submit a
