God cares about the small stuff!

First Let me just say that, God is good! You know, he is not such a big God that he doesn't care about all of our
needs, and wants! That's right, wants also. A few weeks ago, I was cleaning through my closet and thought to
myself... It would be nice to have a pair of brown sandals for the summer. I wanted the kind that wrap around your
big toe.
Ok, now don't laugh at me, you ladies know what I am talking about. Anyway, I didn't think anything else about it.
Well the next morning, I went to some garage sales in my neighborhood. A sweet neighbor of mine asked, "What
size shoe do you wear?" I told her and she said well I have some shoes that size over here. I want you to know
she had a BROWN pair of sandals, practically new, for 50 cents! Oh and the most important part, it had the strap
that was wrapped around the big toe!!!! God knew I didn't NEED those shoes, but he knew in my heart, I desired a
pair like that. Just like a parent desires to give their child an added gift. So, He bought me those shoes. I don't
think I'll ever get rid of those shoes now. Because when I see them I am reminded that God cares about the little
things too. He is so good!
