PEACE...
Who is the true source of peace?
Psalm 3:5 I lay down and slept. I woke up in safety, for the LORD was watching over me.
Psalm 4:8 I will lie down in peace and sleep, for you alone, O LORD, will keep me safe.
Psalm 29:11 The LORD gives his people strength. The LORD blesses them with peace.
Psalm 32:7 For you are my hiding place, you protect me from trouble. You surround me with songs of
victory.
Philippians 4;7 If yo do this, yo will experience God's peace, which is far more wonderful than the
human mind can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds s you live in Christ Jesus. True
peace cannot come from non peaceful sources. God is the fountainhead of peace. Do not expect to find
peace in a turbulent world until you make peace withe God of Peace through Jesus Christ. Peace with
God is finding harmony with God, and that we cannot do on our own. We must reconcile ourselves to
God by asking Christ to forgive our sins and make us clean in God's sight.
How can we get peace from God?
Psalm 34:14 Turn away from evil and do good. Work hard at living in peace with others. Turn from sin
to God.
Isaiah 26:3 You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, whose thoughts are fixed on you!
Trust in God to be with you in all problems and keep your thoughts fixed on him.
Psalm 37:11 Those who are gentle and lowly will possess the land; they will live in prosperous security.
Humble yourselves before the Lord.
Psalm 119;165 Those who love your law have great peace and do not stumble.
Love God's word.
Luke 2:14 Glory to God in the highest heaven, and peace on earth to all whom God favors.
Please God!
Galatians 5:22 But when the Holy Spirit controls our lives, he will produce this kind of fruit in us;...
Peace....
Cultivate the fruit of the Spirit in your life.
Romans 2:10 But there will be glory and Honor and peace from God for all who do good....
Obey God.
How do we make peace with others?
2 Corinthians 13:11 Rejoice. Change your ways. Encourage each other. Live in harmony and
peace. Then the God of love and peace will be with you.
Working hard at ridding sin from our own lives while diligently building others up helps achieve peace.
Ephesians 4:3 Always keep yourselves united in the Holy Spirit, and bind yourselves together with
peace.
Romans 12;17-19 Never pay back evil for evil to anyone...Do your part to live in peace with
everyone....
If you harbor feelings of revenge in your heart, you cannot be at peace with others.
PROMISE FROM GOD: John 14;27 I am leaving you with a gift-peace of mind and heart. And
the peace I give isn't like the peace the world gives. So don't be troubled or afraid.
