Jesus Touched Me

           I was lost in despair,
          No light of day I could see.
          Thought my life would pass me by,
          Then Jesus touched me.

          Bitterness has taken my heart,
          Things not how I wanted to be.
          He enlightened me by His word,
         Then Jesus touched me.

          I was sick and in pain,
          No life was left in me.
          Going to take my last deep breath,
          Then Jesus touched me.

          All the wonders I have seen,
          Miracles He's done for me.
          Times I thought I wouldn't get out,
          Then Jesus touched me.

          No greater power in heaven,
          For all the world to see.
          He healed my life with nail scarred hands,
          When Jesus touched me.
