BUT GOD!

Genesis 50;20
You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many
lives.
You know the passed few weeks, I have done a lot of reflection on where I have been... to where I am today. How
many of you know that going back, is not always a pleasant thing. I thought back to days of when I brought my self
down, couldn't see much good in me, battling with low self esteem. BUT GOD! Because of the pain of looking in the
mirror and not liking what I saw, I learned that he has loved me with an everlasting love. (Jer. 31:3)
After years of physical/verbal abuse in relationships, the pain of feeling rejected, unloved, not measuring up, lost
love, feeling abandoned. BUT GOD! For the Lord has called you like a woman forsaken, grieved in spirit, and heart
sore, even a wife in youth, when she is later, Rejected. (Isaiah 54:6) For though the mountains should depart and
the hills be shaken or removed, YET MY love and kindness shall NOT depart from you, nor shall my covenant of
peace and completeness be removed, says the Lord, Who has compassion on you. (Isaiah 54:10)
Then thinking back on the mistakes that were made and remembering the younger days, BUT GOD! Fear not, for
you shall not be ashamed; neither be confounded and depressed, for you shall not be put to shame. For you shall
forget the shame of your youth....(Isaiah 54;4)
Perhaps, in your life, there have been people that have let you down, made you feel worthless, maybe, you have
battled with yourself. BUT GOD! BUT GOD!
You wonder WHY is the person that I love doing this to me? Why am I doing this to myself? For the weapons of our
warfare are not physical (weapons of flesh and blood), but they are mighty before God. (2 Corinthians 10:4) Realize
who is behind your battle. Your loved one, friend, nor you, are your enemy. The Devil is your enemy.
The devil meant, to make you feel worthless, despised, rejected, unlovable, depressed, unlovely, inadequate,
desperate. For every bad thing he has tried to put on you through people and situations, there is always a "BUT
GOD!".
The devil's intent is to destroy you, however as we read the above scripture, Genesis 50:20 You intended to harm
me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives. Praise God, HE
alone can turn it around for good! Take what you have learned in your life and glorify God by just reaching out to
others and breath NEW life into them! Help bring them out...and remind yourself of God's word, and bring yourself
out.
When he says, your marriage is going to end in divorce, your family with be destroyed, BUT GOD!
When he says, you are going to be broke the rest of your life, BUT GOD!
When he says, you're uneducated, unskilled, unloveable and unattainable, BUT GOD!
When he says you will never be in your right mind, BUT GOD!
When he says you will never be happy, BUT GOD!
When he says, your loved one will NEVER change, that's impossible, BUT GOD!
When he says, you'll never change, BUT GOD!
When he says, you'll never be healed, BUT GOD!
When he says, you can never be forgiven for the things you've done, BUT GOD!
When the enemy tries to lay something on you, remember the devil IS a LIAR! No truth can come out of him! Just
say, "BUT GOD!"
